Dentistry
Our pets need routine dental care, as they can be prone to tooth decay and periodontal disease.
Taking care of our pets' dental care can prevent oral infections and improve their quality of life. Depending on your pets temperament and the severity of their dental issues, we have two different options for dental cleanings.
Non-Anesthetic Dentals
Our clinic has the privilege of partnering with Animal Dental Care, which helps us provide non-anesthetic dentals to our patients a couple times a month. A technician will work with your pet and do a dental assessment, and if they are able to continue then provide cleaning, scaling and polishing of your pet's teeth. To find out if your pet is a good candidate for non-anesthetic cleanings, please schedule an appointment with a veterinarian, and they will be able to proceed from there.
Anesthetic Dental Care
Our anesthetic dentals are a way for us to fully inspect your pets teeth and do a deeper cleaning. Our fully trained veterinary staff will be monitoring your pet throughout the whole process. We take dental x-rays to make sure that nothing is missed, and we do extractions for teeth when it is medically necessary. Afterwards your pet will receive a dental cleaning, scaling and polishing. While your pet is under anesthesia, we keep them in patient warmers for support.
